WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA - August 27, 2013 - Lastwatch, a female-fronted rock band based in South Florida, released their music video for "The Countdown" on VEVO and YouTube today. The track previously debuted on radio at #25 on the BDS Christian Rock chart and quickly climbed to #9. In addition, "The Countdown" is the #1 most requested song on Fuel Radio, Christianrock.net and URRockRadio.net.

The group recorded their full length debut with Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., Pillar, Disciple) and released the finished project, Leave a Light On, in early 2013. "We sent Travis a few songs that we had demoed and he was immediately interested in working with us," says Jon Miller (guitar, background vocals). The result was an album filled with the powerful rock that Lastwatch is known for - an edgy, catchy and innovative sound sure to resonate with music fans who enjoy Skillet and Evanescence. The heavy guitars, powerful vocals and synthetic touches create an energetic dynamic that will have fans jumping in no time.

From September 6 - October 5, Lastwatch will be on the From Water Tour, featuring Jason Dunn (formerly of Hawk Nelson) and Nine Lashes. "I'm really looking forward to playing alongside such great acts," says lead vocalist Ashley Miller. "Lastwatch fans are sure to love Jason Dunn and Nine Lashes. We look forward to any opportunity where we can connect with people, on or off of the stage."
